Applying the Vintage Teak Protector is straightforward, but requires some preparation:
- Wear protective goggles and rubber gloves when using.
- Cover your work area to avoid damage.
- Clean grey areas beforehand with a teak cleaner .
- Lightly sand rough wood to achieve a smooth surface.
- Make sure the wood is absolutely dry and dust-free .
- Shake Vintage Teak Protector for at least one minute before use.
Tips for use
Test the Vintage Teak Protector first on an inconspicuous area to check the colour. Then, using a dust-free cloth, apply a very thin coat evenly and allow to dry for 30 minutes before applying a second coat. For best results, we recommend treating your wooden furniture at least once a year .
